After a phenomenal opening start, we head into the final day of qualifying. The 2021 Australian Open finalist Jennifer Brady continued her comeback campaign in an all-American showdown against Elizabeth Mandlik, who edged Brady in a three set battle. Caroline Dolehide also had to dig deep, outlasting Ena Shibahara in a gripping match that stretched beyond the two-hour mark. Meanwhile, 2024 ATX Open champion Yue Yuan showed the form that made her so dangerous two years ago, defeating San Antonio-based junior and wildcard Nadia Valdez in 47-minutes, 6-0 6-0.

Lastly, Texas Longhorns No. 1 player Carmen Herea competed in one of her first WTA events, falling to Whitney Osuigwe as she continues testing herself at the professional level.
