Things to know and policies to review prior to attending the ATX Open.

Bag Policy

For a smooth entry into the ATX Open, fans are asked to review the following guidelines to ensure that their bags will be permitted into the tournament grounds:

  • No bags larger than a small purse 6″ x 6″ including carrying cases, backpacks, camera bags or chair bags will be permitted into the tournament grounds.
  • Clear plastic or vinyl bags and carrying items may not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ dimensions.
  • Diaper bags or bags that do not adhere to the clear bag policy but contain items related to a medical condition will be subject to inspection by tournament personnel. 

Bags that do not adhere to the guidelines above will not be allowed into the venue. This includes any bags that exceed the size limits as described above. 

Prohibited Items

For the comfort and safety of fans, players and tournament staff, the following items are NOT permitted into the ATX Open without the express authorization of tournament personnel.

  • Unauthorized promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including clothing, banners, signs, symbols, leaflets, stickers or flyers. This includes any Russian or Belarusian flags or any items depicting Russian or Belarusian flags or war symbols (like “Z”).
  • Large signs, banners or flags of any nature that are larger than 12” x 18” in their natural state.
  • Bags larger than a small purse 6″ x 6″ including carrying cases, backpacks, camera bags or chair bags.
  • Clear plastic or vinyl bags and carrying items larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
  • Glass bottles or containers.
  • Alcohol, weapons or illegal substances.
  • Food and beverage with the exception of one unopened bottle of water per person. One empty, refillable water bottle (such as HydroFlask, Swell, etc.) will be permitted per person.
  • Any other item(s) deemed inappropriate or dangerous by tournament personnel.
Disposal of Prohibited Items

Prohibited items that are discovered during inspections must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle/transportation or discarded. The ATX Open will not provide a storage area for these items. Fans arriving by public transportation or rideshare must take particular caution not to bring any prohibited items as no exceptions will be made.

Inclement Weather Precaution

On occasion, threatening weather may force us to clear Stadium and Grandstand Match Court seating and the tournament grounds. We ask for your prompt cooperation should you hear an announcement pertaining to threatening weather.

Refunds/Exchanges

There are no refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.

Rain Policy

The following policy applies to individual session tickets purchased directly (and not via ticket auction, exchange, resale, or other secondary ticket outlets) through Tixtrack or atxopen.com. Please note that this policy does not apply to weeklong subscriptions or any tickets issued on a Complimentary or Trade basis. If one match is completed on Stadium Match Court, a session is considered complete, and no exchanges or refunds will be made. If a session is canceled and no matches are completed on Stadium Match Court, Tournament management will make every effort to reasonably accommodate the individual session ticket holder for a subsequent session, if held. The ATX Open cannot guarantee ticket availability, exchange of equal value or comparable seat location. There will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS for sessions where a match is completed on Stadium Match Court. In addition, fans are advised that the ATX Open schedule of play is subject to change for all sessions. Tickets are not eligible for refund or exchange due to one or more changes in the schedule of play. Please note: Information on scheduling changes can be obtained by visiting atxopen.com.

Same Day Re-entry

Fans who would like to leave and return will need to have their hand stamped or ticket exit scanned upon departure and present their ticket and stamped hand when they re-enter.

Cashless Tournament

Cash will not be accepted on-site at the ATX Open. Debit and credit cards only. 

Movement During Matches

At Stadium and Grandstand Match Courts, spectator movement is restricted to breaks in play only (i.e. change over, set break, and between matches).

Cameras

No flash photography is allowed. Cameras are prohibited for any purpose other than using photographs or footage for personal and private domestic use. Film may not be reproduced. Such footage or photographs cannot be exploited or displayed in any manner or in any medium whatsoever without express written consent from the WTA.

Laptops & Tablet Computers

With the exception of select credentialed individuals, laptops and tablets will be prohibited into the tournament grounds.

Cell Phones

Cell phones may not be used while matches are in progress. Please silence or turn off all cell phones when in close proximity to any court or while inside Stadium Match Court or Grandstand Match Court.

Food & Beverage

There will be a variety of dining options available on-site. With the exception of one unopened bottle of water per person, no food or beverage will be admitted into the tournament grounds.

One empty, refillable water bottle (such as HydroFlask, Swell, etc.) will be permitted per person.

Pets

Pets are not allowed, with the exception of registered service animals.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited at the ATX Open. This includes vaping and e-cigs.

Umbrellas

Umbrellas may be used on the grounds, but not within the stadium or around any match court where it can be a hindrance to other spectators.

General Parking

General Parking with shuttle transportation to and from the ATX Open at Westwood Country Club is located at Camp Mabry (2200 W 35th St., Austin, TX 78703). A parking pass and valid photo ID (anyone 18 years of age or older) are required in order to access General Parking at Camp Mabry.

A designated pick-up and drop-off area for Uber, Lyft, taxis and other rideshare services will be located near the main tournament entrance at Westwood Country Club.

Note: In addition to presenting ID upon arrival, everyone 18 or older will also be asked to show ID when returning to their vehicles at Camp Mabry. This includes both the driver and passengers of any vehicle parked at Camp Mabry. 

ADA Accessible Seating

The ATX Open is ADA Accessible. Each ADA seat is pre-assigned and must be selected at the time of purchase. Access ramps are located on the northwest and southwest sides of Stadium Match Court.

With a valid disabled placard, sticker or license plate issued by the DMV, ADA parking is available within the Camp Mabry General Parking lot. ADA-accessible shuttles will run to and from the ATX Open at Westwood Country Club. A parking pass and valid government-issued photo ID (for everyone over 18 years of age) are required in order to access General Parking at Camp Mabry.
