One ticket, one session

You will need a ticket to attend each session. Please be prepared to present your ticket to the usher for entry to the tournament site and your seating section.

Your day session ticket is only valid during the day session and your evening session ticket is only valid during the evening session. If you have an evening session ticket and would also like to attend the day session, you will have to purchase a day session ticket and vice versa.

Outside courts

ATX Open will have 11 courts, and matches are generally played on the Center Court and one or two outside courts. The rest are used for practice courts. When you buy a ticket, you buy a reserved seat on Center Court, but you also are free to watch matches and practice sessions on other courts. Generally, matches are played on other courts until Friday. On Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, matches are only played on Center Court depending upon if there were weather impacts on previous days.

The ATX Open will have an off-site parking lot located at Barton Creek Mall – 2901 S. Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746. Shuttle service will be provided to the event. Spectators may also use rideshare options such as Uber/Lyft. Details on purchasing parking passes will be made available on the website ahead of the event.

The tournament will not know names of players who have entered the event until 30 JAN 2023, at which point the list will be posted on the website. Marquee players who commit prior to 30 JAN 2023 will be announced via our website, social media and other marketing platforms. The complete player field will be announced 3-4 weeks prior to the event.

First player committed as of APRIL 2022: Danielle Collins. She is the 2022 Australian Open Finalist.

Inclement weather policy

In case a session is canceled due to inclement weather, the ATX Open™ will make every effort to accommodate the ticket holder in a future session within whatever ticket inventory is available. A session with matches played for 60 min will qualify as a session completed.

The schedule is made with input from the tour, television, and the tournament. Tentative start time is 11 am for day sessions and 6 pm for night sessions. Check schedules on the website closer to the tournament start dates.

The draws are made a few days before the tournament starts and will be published online immediately following the conclusion of the draw ceremony.

Singles Draw

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the first Main Draw rounds will be played Monday and Tuesday and the first and second rounds will be played Wednesday. The round of 16 is completed on Thursday, the quarter finals are played on Friday, the semi finals are played on Saturday and the finals are played on Sunday, weather permitting.

Center Court at the ATX Open is divided into levels: The Clubhouse VIP level, the Courtside Box level, Premium Seating level and the Reserved Seating level.

In the future, on the tournament schedule page, you’ll find the start times of each session. There are no definite session-ending times, as all sessions last until the matches for that session are completed or the session is determined to be completed (due to rain or other circumstance).

Day sessions on Center Court will usually have 4 matches scheduled with an option to move the 4th match to an outside court to not conflict with the evening session starting time. Day sessions usually last until about 5 p.m., and the evening sessions usually last until approximately 10 p.m. Again, ending times are dependent on the length of the matches scheduled for that session. (Gates open one hour before each session starts.) If the day session is still busy and overlapping with the starting time of the evening session, ticket holders of the evening session will have to wait till the day session ticket holders have cleared the Tournament Site.

The 2023 ATX Open will be broadcast on television. More info will be provided closer to the event.
