WTA Tour Returns to Austin’s Westwood Country Club February 24 – March 3, 2024

AUSTIN, Texas – The ATX Open has announced that tickets for the second edition of the WTA 250 tournament will go on sale Monday, October 16, at 10 a.m. CDT. The event will be held at Austin’s Westwood Country Club February 24 – March 3.

The ATX Open will once again take place during the first week of competition for the Hologic WTA Tour in the United States during the 2024 season.

Several changes are in store for Austin’s 2024 event, including additional seating around Center Court, expanded hospitality offerings in several locations, the new Cadillac Club offering views of Grandstand Court, additional special events, and a new opening weekend featuring qualifying matches and other activities to kick off tournament week.

“We are so excited to bring the WTA Tour back to Austin in 2024 after such a successful inaugural ATX Open,” said Tournament Director Christo Van Rensburg. “While our first edition went very, very well, we are eager to have an even better event this year. We received so much valuable feedback from our fans, partners, and players, all of which has been top of mind as we prepare to bring world-class tennis back to Austin in February.”

Fans will also be invited to attend opening weekend: Saturday, February 24 – Sunday, February 25. Special events and other programming will surround the qualifying competition. More information regarding opening weekend tickets and entertainment will be released soon.

Single session and full series ticket packages are available across 13 day and night sessions beginning Monday, February 26. The singles and doubles finals will be held Sunday, March 3.

Reserved single session seating starts at $28+ for the main draw early rounds and $99+ for Sunday’s final round. Premium single session seating starts at $58+ for the opening rounds and $128+ for Sunday’s final round.

Full series packages provide access to all 13 sessions at the best ticket value, starting at $735 per seat.

All tickets include dedicated seating at Center Court and access to open seating at Grandstand Court on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket holders will also be able to watch all matches and practice sessions on other courts throughout the grounds. ATX Open tickets and packages will go on sale at 10 a.m. CDT on Monday, October 16, and will be available for purchase at ATXOpen.com.
Sponsorships are now available for the 2024 tournament, with additional hospitality offerings and events enhancing the packages. Companies interested in partnering with the tournament should email info@atxopen.com to request additional information.

In 2023, nearly 18,000 fans enjoyed the tournament’s first year that was capped by Marta Kostyuk winning the singles title, while Erin Routliffe, this year’s US Open doubles champion, teamed up with Aldila Sutjiadi to win the ATX Open doubles title.

The 2023 ATX Open player field was also highlighted by 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens, 2022 Australian Open runner-up Danielle Collins, and 2022 NCAA Singles Champion Peyton Stearns from the University of Texas.

Also of note, pro tennis returns to Austin in November with a pair of DropShot Series tournaments. Those events at the Texas Tennis Center include the men’s Greenview Development & Majestic Realty Men’s Pro Tennis Open November 6-12, 2023, followed by the H-E-B Women’s Pro Tennis Open November 13-19, 2023. Admission to these tournaments is complimentary, but fans do need to register in advance for free tickets on dropshotseries.com beginning Monday, October 2.

In 2022, Stearns won the women’s event, which resulted in her earning a wild card into the inaugural ATX Open where she recorded her first career match win in a WTA Tour event on her way to the quarterfinals. The 2023
H-E-B Women’s Pro Tennis Open champion will be awarded a wild card in to the 2024 ATX Open.

A full player list for next year’s ATX Open will be released in January.
