For Wang Xiyu, a former singles and doubles world No. 1 junior, an ATX Open win would mean a career-high professional world ranking. It would also mark her second Hologic

For Yuan Yue, the Austin title would be a career first. Last October, Yuan reached her first tour final in Seoul before falling to then World No. 4 Jessica Pegula.
