Santamaria Honored with Catalyst Award Presented by Google

On Sunday, in partnership with Google, Austin Community Foundation (ACF) and the Dropshot Tournament Series, the Catalyst Award was presented to Sabrina Santamaria in recognition of her service to others and advocacy for women through the sport of tennis.

In addition to a $25,000 cash grant awarded to High Impact Athletes’ Global Health & Poverty Portfolio, an initiative Santamaria supports, the Catalyst Award supports the Austin Community Foundation’s Women’s Fund through individual donations and other forms of support.

In support of this effort, Google has also committed to match every donation made to the ACF Women’s Fund, up to $25,000.

Through the Catalyst Award, Google, Austin Community Foundation and the Dropshot Tournament Series have the opportunity to celebrate the outstanding athletes that come from around the globe to compete in Austin while simultaneously empowering the local women that call Austin home.
