Jessica Pegula Withdraws from ATX Open Due to Injury

Defending champion Jessica Pegula has been forced to withdraw from the ATX Open at Westwood Country Club in Austin, citing a left knee injury. 

“I am disappointed to not be able to defend my title in Austin. I love this event and have such great memories from last year. Hopefully I can come back in the future.” 

Pegula has been replaced by lucky loser and former singles and doubles champion Yue Yuan.
