2026 ATX Open Main Draw Preview

The draw for the fourth annual ATX Open is official, and the tournament opens with marquee matchups from the first ball.

SHE’S BACK

Our reigning champion Jessica Pegula is fresh off a championship run in Dubai and now heads to Austin to open her title defense against Slovakia’s Rebecca Šramková. It’s a quick turnaround, but momentum is on her side as she looks to carry that winning form into a title defense.

AUSTIN DEBUT

Canadian wildcard and 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu makes her Austin debut against Hungary’s Dalma Galfi. After battling injuries, Andreescu is back on the comeback trail and closing in on the top 100 again. She’s already captured two ITF titles this year and is looking to add another strong result to her season.

Are you ready for a first round blockbuster? All-time great Venus Williams is set to make her Austin debut against 2025 semifinalist Ajla Tomljanović in a highly anticipated clash. Williams restarted her season last summer at the Mubadala Citi DC Open and has played consistently through the US Open swing and the Australian summer. This first round clash is poised to be one of the week’s must-see matches.
