Tickets for the 2025 ATX Open go on sale today, Tuesday, August 27
AUSTIN, Texas – World No. 14 and eight-time WTA singles champion Madison Keys will make her ATX Open debut in 2025. The powerful baseliner, who has been ranked as high as No. 7 in the world, joins fellow American Jessica Pegula as the second Top 20 player set to showcase her talent in Austin early next year. The American stars will headline the 32-player singles field at the Hologic WTA Tour tournament set for February 22-March 2 at Austin’s Westwood Country Club.
Keys’ impressive career is highlighted by a run to the 2017 US Open finals, a 2019 title in Cincinnati, multiple Billie Jean King Cup team nominations, and Olympic achievements as a member of Team USA. Keys has made six career Grand Slam semifinal appearances and has claimed titles in each of the last three seasons.
So far in 2024, Keys has recorded two semifinal finishes in Madrid and Eastbourne, a quarterfinal appearance in Rome, and a title in Strasbourg where she did not drop a set and lost just sixteen games across four rounds. At Wimbledon, Keys was forced to retire against eventual finalist Jasmine Paolini in the Round of 16. At the time of the injury, Keys led the match 5-2 in the third set but was unable to continue after receiving treatment on her upper left leg.
Keys kicked off at the US Open yesterday with a convincing first-round victory.

All those seeking to experience the ATX Open for the first time—or a third consecutive year—are in for a unique Austin experience. In Keys, they will get to see a fan favorite whose off-court accomplishments are every bit as impressive as those on the court. She is the founder of the Kindness Wins Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting kindness to youth, kindness to self, and kindness to others in times of struggle.
In announcing her 2025 ATX Open commitment, Keys said, “I’ve been playing on tour since I was 14 years old. It’s so exciting after so many years being able to compete in new cities like Austin. I’m very excited to come experience all that Austin has and play in front of a new crowd next year!”
ATX Open Tournament Director Christo van Rensburg added, “Madi is a class act. She’s beloved on and off the court. There is much excitement around her forthcoming ATX Open debut. We can’t wait to host her in Austin; and the fans across the region undoubtedly feel the same way. Her inaugural presence here is going to bring a lot of fresh excitement to the tournament and city.”
